festival

Sasquatch. Coachella. Bonnaroo. etc, etc, etc. I want to go to them all! But Sasquatch is it this year. By it, I mean it's everything I've ever dreamed of. Bon Iver, Santigold, Beirut, Walk the Moon, Grouplove, Fun., the Roots, Coeur de Pirate... my list goes on and on.

It's currently just the beginning of April, so this festival is two full months away. Ive already been outfit planning for weeks and researching outfits on blogs. I think I've bought two clothing items in the past month that have both been purposefully bought for the festival explicitly.

So when this beautiful video and post by Free People came along.. who am I to say no? I need face paint.

Not to mention the beautiful use of face paint in this music video for Walk the Moon's 'Anna Sun'. Did I mention they are playing at Sasquatch?

Stellar Radio Babes

Stumbled upon a concert last weekend where these guys played! They are from Golden and they are so rad. To be honest, I think they sound better live than they do on myspace. How often do you get that? Doesn't hurt that the lead singer is a complete babe. His voice is perfection, too.

I think my favourite song is An Unfortunate Incident at the moment.

Reading List

Here's the situation. I graduate in 1 1/2 months. This means I might have time to read things I'm personally interested in. What?! I don't remember the last time, unless you count quick, easy, and trendy books, i.e., Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. My list is still very small, as I've spent only a week making it.. I still need so many suggestions!

Sending spring your way!

Movie Night

Have you ever had David's Tea? A young entrepreneur started this company that, in my opinion, has the opposite aesthetic that you would like/expect to see at a tea shop. That being said, they have some damn good tea. I recently tried 'Movie Night', which is a combination of green tea, apple pieces, and popcorn pieces. Yes, popcorn! Being a huge fan of the popcorn flavoured Jelly Belly (Yes, everyone calls that gross except me) I knew I had to have it. SO WORTH IT - it is a great tea. I feel like I'm in the movie theatre.

Dare you to try it.
