Movie Night

Have you ever had David's Tea? A young entrepreneur started this company that, in my opinion, has the opposite aesthetic that you would like/expect to see at a tea shop. That being said, they have some damn good tea. I recently tried 'Movie Night', which is a combination of green tea, apple pieces, and popcorn pieces. Yes, popcorn! Being a huge fan of the popcorn flavoured Jelly Belly (Yes, everyone calls that gross except me) I knew I had to have it. SO WORTH IT - it is a great tea. I feel like I'm in the movie theatre.

Dare you to try it.

take me to your best friend's house

Last night I went out to send off two very good friends on a four-month trip down under. They will go to Australia and then over to South East Asia, etc. The parts I am most jealous of are as follows:
-going to a wedding
-Vietnam! (It just recently occurred to me that this is one of the most desirable places on my list of travel currently)
-Bali (I've been resisting googling images of this place, just the name is all I can muster at the moment)
-the cuisine in Asian part of the trip
-elephants
-handmade products by the locals
-jellyfish sighting (and hopefully no stings!)
-backpacking with friends
-not knowing the language of the country you are in!
-tropical fruit

I will miss them so much! Instead of all those fun things, I will be in the middle of falling snowflakes and rosy cheeks. Just kidding. That's me dream life, the one I live in only one day per week at the ski hill. I will be nose deep in textbooks and learning the ins and outs of biochemistry! It's a good time for them to be gone, if I had to choose.

Have so much fun babies!

I'll miss you!

Cnidaria

Twofeather was created by one of my favourite people, someone who created the drink called 'Sashishka' while we were at a hot springs in Costa Rica (and promptly ordered it from the confused bartender on the other side of the swim up bar) and who prefers to use words he doesn't know the meaning of in place of words he does in his daily dialogue.

Additionally, he recently told me that I remind him of a jellyfish - something that floats through life carefree and with great charisma that makes everyone drawn to it, yet if provoked, will sting quite surprisingly and sometimes poisonously with it's cnidocytes. I love this. And I love him.

Right?

Classic.
